Assignments

To try your classmates' solutions in Terminal, start Terminal and log in to Ernie as the "networks" user, like this:

When prompted for password, enter the common class password for the networks user (see page 6 of the printed syllabus).

Then,

And you will see a folder for each assignment. cd into the folder you're interested in, then ls again to see what's there, then run the program you're interested in.

For programs that can be run in a web browser, enter through this URL:
http://ernie.art.yale.edu/~networks/assignments

To copy the source files so you can view and edit them on your own computer, press Command-K to connect to the networks user on Ernie from the Finder. Just enter "networks" as the username when you connect, instead of your normal username.
