Networks & Transactions 1

To run the programs from each lab in Terminal, start Terminal and log in to Ernie as the "networks" user, like this:

$ ssh networks@ernie.art.yale.edu

When prompted for password, enter the common class password for the networks user (see page 6 of the printed syllabus).

Then,

$ cd Sites/labs
$ ls

And you will see all the files.

For programs that can be run in a web browser, enter through this URL:
http://ernie.art.yale.edu/~networks/labs

To copy the source files so you can view and edit them on your own computer, press Command-K to connect to the networks user on Ernie from the Finder. Just enter "networks" as the username when you connect, instead of your normal username.
