Caution

This is a personal work in progress; who knows what it is going to do to your Palm. I can only promise that I tried it on mine first. Also the Hotsync will backup the data in your Palm at the same time as it installs the new files.

Installation instructions

Requirements: StuffIt or a Zip program for Macintosh or Windows; a PalmOS handheld.

  1. Download the file nowhere.zip by clicking once on the link.
  2. Use StuffIt, ZipIt or WinZip to decompress it if this does not happen automatically.
  3. Select "Install Handheld Files..." from the Hotsync Instant Menu or the Hotsync menu of Palm Desktop.
  4. Drag the "nowhere" folder into the Install Handheld Files window.
  5. Do a Hotsync.

Note

You're getting a runtime-only distribution of the PocketC program by Orbworks. If you've already got the full version of PocketC it will be overwritten when you install! If you already have PocketC installed, simply remove "PocketC.prc" from the Install Handheld Files window in Step 4 before you Hotsync. And, you are also downloading the MathLib and PToolbox libraries which extend PocketC's abilities.

Running the program

  1. Go to your handheld's Main Menu and tap PocketC. (If you don't see it, make sure your Category is set to view All).
  2. Select Nowhere from the list and then tap Execute.
Stopping the program

In the graffiti-letter area, first gesture the command symbol (goes like / , from lower-left to upper-right), and then gesture S .
