Website for Columbia Books on Architecture and the City examines the point of view of the user as an inspiration for how we represent both printed and digital books.

Visual identity for Columbia GSAPP takes its initial inspiration from a 1914 gift to the school: a sixteen-ton dark-green granite sphere, placed at the center of campus.

Visual identity for Columbia Books on Architecture and the City is a permanent placeholder whose format always shifts to match the aspect ratio of the object it’s imprinted upon.

The 2015/16 catalog for Columbia Books on Architecture and the City was something of a teaser for the new website and identity released later in the year.
